The Dress
I purchased the lovely Kin gown from another bride on Still White at the end of 2023. The dress was brand new with its tag on and had not been altered at the time. I believe it was purchased via the Outnet.
I’m getting married in July 2024 and have had the dress altered to fit me. The Kin dress is a beautiful style, but I have now decided to wear a less fitted dress for my evening reception.
Please do let me know if you have any questions, or if you’d like to try it on. I’m based in Enfield, North London.
Alterations
- The neck has been made slightly smaller to stop the dress slipping down.
- The straps coming from the side of the dress to the back have been tightened up to make sure there is no gaping.
- Some adjustments to the darts and seam at the back coming from the waist to remove excess material.
- I’m 5ft 3 so the waist band has also been slight moved up and extra material above the waist band has been removed.
- The dress hem is unaltered and its original length.
