The Dress

This Essence of Australia wedding dress has been worn only once, on the wedding day in October 2017. It has since been professionally dry cleaned (receipt available as proof) and is in perfect condition. The bride was 5ft 9 and size 14, and wore flat shoes on the day so the dress is sized exactly to that height, but can be made shorter as the pattern along the hem is easily moveable by a seamstress.

The ivory dress is a cap sleeve wedding dress with a slight v-neckline, a romantic lace bodice, and is in a ball gown style. The skirt of the dress is ivory lace & tulle over ivory satin with hand sewn diamante accents for a soft sparkle. To the back of the dress, there is a slight scooped back and a chapel train with corset closure.

A bustle has also been added to the back of the wedding dress in the form of a loop hidden in the base of the corset and a hook hidden in the hem of the train, neither of which are visible on the dress while not in use – this means that following the ceremony and photographs, the train can be hooked into the loop making it easier to walk around and dance on the evening of the wedding.

The dress was bought for £1500.00 new from a bridal shop in Darlington, and was made to order (receipt available as proof). The original dress bag will be included with your purchase.
