The Dress

Thanks for looking at my lovely wedding dress! You're looking at a beautiful brand new Galina wedding dress from David's Bridal in London. It's brand new, never been worn, with all original labels on and the David's Bridal carry bag. I decided not to wear this dress in the end as I got married in Winter and as the day came closer and the weather got colder, I didn't think a backless dress would be quite so warm! I am an idiot for buying it, but I totally fell in love. I've been married for 18 months now and have had the dress hanging up in my spare room as I've not wanted to part from it. I really do love it. But it's time to say good bye as I need the space!

The dress is an ivory chiffon halterneck dress with a slight a-line skirt. It has a beautiful dotted pattern allover and lovely detailing around the waist. I've seen some brides who wore this dress with a belt and it looked stunning! The main feature, and the thing I fell in love with, is the back. It's backless with a gorgeous big bow at the neck. It's so striking, like nothing I've ever seen before. There is a slight train at the back, although nothing too dramatic. It's fully lined and has an invisible zip at the back. It's super comfy - you can definitely over-indulge (which I almost definitely did on my wedding day) in this dress! Haha.

The label says US Size 2/UK size 6, although i'm a 8/10 and it fit me perfectly. I didn't have it altered, so it comes as it would from the bridal shop.
